Bullying Animation

This is an animation that I made with the help of Oh Hsen, Daniel and Aj. This animation is about a year 8 student standing up for a junior student who is getting bullied. I think it is important to realise that junior students can't stand up for themselves and they need some help sometimes so that's where the senior students come in. We can stand up and speak out for the people who can't stand up for themselves.

Today we got to play with an mBot that my friend Lyndon won at the GEG student
summit which was a really cool place we got to learn new things about technology and we got to bring our learning  back to the class to show everyone. The mBot is really cool i is a robot that we have to program. When we were programming this mBot I noticed that we all talked a lot and it made it easier o program it to the best of our ability

Today we made a Flextangle which is 3d pattern which we made using folded paper we thought carefully about the colours we chose. We chose to do hot colours on one side and cold colours on the other side the reason we did this is because contrasting colours stand out more and make the art pop more. This was a maths activity which is pretty cool that we got to do this for maths but it did have some geometry elements implemented and the folding was a bit difficult.

Kate Sheppard

This is a DLO Calvin, Oh Hsen, Eric, Cj and I made about Kate Sheppard who was a New Zealander and was also the leader of the suffragette movement which is when the women protested against the men because they wanted there own say in the election.

Dance - Rewindable Learning

Panmure Bridge School has a dance production coming up and I am in in the song Staying alive but lucky for us we have rewindable learning which is learning you can watch over and over again to help us get better at things even when you are at home if you really wanted to so I can keep watching the dance and practising until I get the dance perfect. But these moves didn't make themselves thank you to Zoe for helping us out with the dance.

GAFE Summit

Today I went to the GAFE summit at Ormistion with Tiava, Daniel, Lyndon and Jeremiah. We went to present our knowledge on stop motion animation using google slides and we also got to learn some other things from different schools that we then got to take back to school to teach the classroom we also got to meet the head of Google Australia. I had a lot of fun at the summit and we even won an M-Bot thanks to Lyndon's help and we are going to spend the next week learning how to program it. A big thank you to Mrs Anderson for taking and supporting us and also Mrs Ferguson for providing transport.

Tech Term 3 Day 1

At tech I am still working with Mrs Fergusson. My design is finished and has been laser cut I know have to design and paint the front of my clock. The design I have gone with is the Tri-Force from The Legend of Zelda so I will be using a lot of yellowish golden colour to make my clock as accurate as possible.

Suffragette Movement

This is a DLO Eric, Cj, Calvin, Oh Hsen and I made. It is a short 25 word summary definition of the suffragette movement which is when the women couldn't vote but they wanted there own say so they protested and now women are allowed to vote. We talked a lot when making this DLO to figure out how we could define the suffragette movement in 25 words.
