Athletics day

Today we did athletics day in mufty, everyone who wore mufty donated a gold coin which went toward a school that was affected by the earthquakes in Christchurch. Athletics day was really fun we got split into groups I was in Javeylor's group a long with Fifita, Oh Hsen, Calvin and Jorja. My favorite section was long jump.

This is a vendiagram I made comparing to aviators. Jean batten and Amelia earhart. We were learning about timelines for inquiry and I made timelines on both of these aviators. My Jean Batten timeline is on my blog if you want to look at that.

Zahra and I worked together on a timeline about jean batten. Jean batten is a famous New Zealand aviator and was the first person to fly from London to New Zealand. Link to popplet

Tech

Today at tech we wrote about design. I think the colors of my design are really bland but it also suits it at the same time. My design is a bunny with stitching's and it has buttons for eyes

Recount Quiz

Today I did a recount quiz. A lot of the questions had to do with the tense and how you were viewing the text. I got all the questions right 10/10, Obviously.

Paper Planes

Today we made paper planes. We worked with a group to make a design and see who's design would go the furtherest. We had a lot of fun doing this activity. After we made our designs we went outside to see how they were, My plane just glided through the air spinning as if it were in a tornado. Thomas got his plane on the roof of the library.
